Ncell launches Nepal’s first ‘Wire Free Plus WiFi’ service

Pradeep Adhikari / Kathmandu: On August 5, Consumers in Nepal will now be able to take advantage of bundled services with attractive wireless internet and wifi connectivity without any hassle. Ncell has launched wireless plus wifi service for the first time in Nepal. The company launched the service on Tuesday (July 20) under its umbrella theme ‘Plus’. The wireless wifi plus service is a wifi service targeted at both home and business based on the latest wireless technology. Under this technology, consumers can avail of wireless data services.

Attractive bundle service as per plan in bundling service; customers will get 2 Forge SIM cards, depending on the plan, 5 GB to 10 GB data in each SIM, 425 minutes talk time per month within the home network and digital content including Mobiplex, Hungama Music, Dami Music, Prabhu TV and a customer service which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, is a key feature of this Wirefree Plus WiFi service. Last month, the company started taking pre-bookings from customers willing to avail of this service.

Expressing his enthusiasm on the occasion of launching Wirefree Plus WiFi service, Pradip Srivastava, Chief Commercial Officer of Ncell said, “We are excited about pre-booking orders from customers. It underscores the importance of wireless data connectivity and we believe this service will help consumers access the Internet, connect them to the opportunities that bring connectivity, and become digital.”

Under this service, which has a monthly fee of Rs. 690 in the annual plan. The interested customers can take the plan under any group in three groups including Gold, Platinum, and Diamond as per their requirement. Under the Gold Group, customers get 60 GB of wireless plus data, 200 minutes of on-net talk time, and 5 GB of data per month on 2 Forge SIM cards for a monthly fee of only Rs 690 (excluding tax).

Similarly under Platinum Group, customers get 85 GB of wireless plus data, 500 minutes of on-net talk time, and 10 GB of data per month on 2 Forge SIM cards for a monthly fee of only Rs 860 (excluding tax). Under Diamond Group, customers get 100 GB of wireless plus data, 1000 minutes of on-net talk time, and 10 GB of data per month on 2 Forge SIM cards for a monthly fee of only Rs. 950 (excluding tax).

Customers wishing to avail of this service by activating the Wirefree Plus service can contact their nearest Ncell Center. Customers can also make bookings at Prabhu Pay, Khalti, and Prabhu Kiosk on the Ncell Axiata company’s website and at the nearest Prabhu Remit counter. Depending on the package deadline, the customer has to pay a one-time customer fee of Rs.500, Rs.2,500, or Rs.3,500.

Customers are exempted from this fee for packages with a time limit of 420 days. According to the customer acceptance package, the services available under these packages will be received every 30 days on a cycle. Services that have not been used within the 30-day period or remaining services will not be added in the next 30 days.

Initially, the service is available in more than 40 districts of the country from Kanchanpur, Baitadi, Dadeldhura in the far west to Morang, Sunsari and Dhankuta in the east. The company has started providing the service by connecting the device based on the bookings received.

Under its new theme ‘Plus’, Ncell has brought an attractive ‘Nonstop YouTube Plus’ offer, Endless Chat Plus, Easy SIM Plus service for its Forge customers, and will continue to bring more services for the customers. The ‘Plus’ theme aims to ensure that customers have access to the service wherever they are, with innovative and specialized services.
